We had a record number of candidates of Turkish origin in the May elections, from Enfield and West Hampstead to Croydon and Chelsea.
Congratulations to the new and returning Conservative councillors:
Havering Council – Osman Ali Dervish (Pettits)
Bexley Council – Cafer Munur (Blackfen & Lamorbey) and Ahmet Dourmoush (Longlands)
Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea Council – Cem Campbell Kemahlı (Royal Hospital)
Waltham Forest Council – Nick Halil Halebi and Kay Isa (Chingford Green)
All candidates had excellent campaigns and many thanks to the volunteers for giving us a hand at every stage.
Please drop us a note if you are looking to get more involved in your local council and beyond – we’d be delighted to help.
